As National Underwriting Counsel at First Nationwide, Michael brings 10 years’ experience in the United States Title Insurance Industry. His responsibilities include providing underwriting counsel & coordinating closings for national commercial transactions.
Prior to joining First Nationwide, Mr. Scott gained valuable experience during his tenure at two title agencies and in private practice specializing in both residential & commercial real estate transactions. Additionally, his legal experience includes a decade of practicing litigation, corporate and real estate law in his native Australia.
Mr. Scott is admitted to practice in New York, and received a Bachelor of Laws & Bachelor of Arts from The University of Melbourne.
