New York, NY – January 28, 2013 – First Nationwide Title Agency (FNTA) announced today that Allison L. Luskoff, Esq. has joined the agency as Senior Underwriting Counsel responsible for analyzing, overseeing and resolving all title issues relating to clients’ commercial real estate transactions. Her title is Senior Vice President and Senior Underwriting Counsel.
Prior to joining FNTA, Ms. Luskoff was a Senior Associate at the prominent law firm Jaspan Schlesinger, LLP. In such capacity, she represented builders, developers, entities, individuals, estates and not-for-profit organizations in acquisitions, financings, sales and triple net lease transactions. Ms. Luskoff also worked on complex commercial litigation matters involving title defects.
Prior to joining Jaspan, Ms. Luskoff was Underwriting Counsel with First American Title Insurance Company where she underwrote a plethora of major commercial and residential real estate transactions, involving purchases, refinances, triple net leases, transfer of development rights, Attorney General packages, condominium formation, acquisition loans, project loans, construction loans and modifications, mechanics liens, life estates, partner disputes and title defects among a host of other issues affecting real property all over New York State.

Ms. Luskoff earned a BA degree from Brooklyn College and a J.D. from New York Law School, graduating Cum Laude in 2001 and started the practice of law as an Associate at the prominent New York based law firm Duval & Stachenfeld, LLP. She was on the Board of Directors of the Nassau County Women’s Bar Association from 2005 – 2007 and her public speaking engagements, all during 2011, included appearing before the Suffolk County Bar Association, the Nassau County Bar Association and the New York City Bar Association. Ms. Luskoff is currently a member of the New York State Land Title Association Law Committee.
